Down by the Bay 5K and Tot Trot is a unique event for the whole family. Runners, walkers, stroller-pushers, and little ones are invited!
The event includes fun games for the entire family and the chance to meet all of the wonderful teachers at Mountain View Parent Nursery School (MVPNS) as well as the loving parents.

Adults running alongside their children, do NOT need to register for the Tot Trot.
Tot Trot Details
The Tot Trot is an untimed kid’s run of 0.5km (0.35mi) for ages 8 & under. Please note, all minors require consent from a legal guardian and must be accompanied by an adult at the event.
Parent participation in the Tot Trot
Parents may run the loop with their children if they wish. Adults do NOT need to sign up for the Tot Trot. Please be mindful of safety and social distancing guidelines to ensure a safe and fun experience for your child and the community.
Older children are encouraged to run on their own, with parents cheering/watching from the side.
The 5K starts after the Tot Trot is complete so families can sign up for both.
Tot Trot Prize
All Tot Trot participants are #1 in our eyes and will receive a prize after they cross the finish line for their efforts!

Parking lots are available to the right and left after the Gatehouse. Parking lots will open at 8:00am to the public.

Safety

- We will have volunteers at the start line of the 5K to spread out runners of different abilities and ensure a safe start. Strollers will start in the back of the group.
- Please pay attention to our volunteers and signs on course.
- Keep yourselves hydrated! There are water stations marked on the map for your convenience.
